Conference logistics & parking

The STEAM Youth and Community Conference is hosted by the University of San Diego and located in the Mother Rosalie Hall (MRH) building. Address below:

ARRIVAL
Registration is from 9AM-10AM. The conference kick-off will take place at 10AM!
Upon arrival to Mother Rosalie Hall, please follow the signs to inside the building, where you will check-in and receive information for the day.
If your student is presenting in the student showcase, please plan to arrive by 9:30 for set up!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the North: Use I-5 South, exit Sea World Dr./Tecolote Rd. Proceed left at stoplight toward Morena Blvd. Turn right on Morena. Turn left on Napa. Turn left on Linda Vista Rd.
From the South: Use I-5 North, exit Morena Blvd. (signs say: Morena Blvd. use I-8 East). Stay to the right and follow the signs for Morena Blvd. Take the first right onto Linda Vista Rd.
From the East: Use I-8 West, exit at Morena Blvd. Turn right onto Linda Vista Rd.
From Linda Vista Road, turn into the University’s West Entrance at Marian Way. Drive up the hill. Mother Rosalie Hill Hall will be on your left hand side at the top of the hill. This is how it looks:

PARKING
There is a parking lot under Mother Rosalie Hill Hall and lots of parking spaces on the street on the way up to MRH from Linda Vista. Parking is free on Saturday.
The parking garage for Mother Rosalie Hill Hall will be located (underground) behind the building.
WIFI ACCESS
Internet is open and available without password. Please use the "usdguest" network.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Simple breakfast snacks (including coffee) available from 9AM - 10AM
LUNCH: We will serve lunch from 11:30am to 1:30pm from Flavors of East Africa and Taquizas Jose. During lunch, there will be awesome steel pan music and other ways to move and groove!
*Dedicated lunch time from 12:15PM - 1PM without any workshops happening
We will have water stations throughout the day to keep you hydrated!
